About Me

I come from a lower middle-class background, where money was often tight and every opportunity had to be earned; however, I worked my way through those challenges and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. But life didn’t become easy after that. Like many Americans, I’ve experienced firsthand what it means to juggle responsibilities, deal with financial pressure, and keep pushing forward despite uncertainty, and that has shaped how I understand the struggles people face every day.

To support myself and stay afloat financially, I work three jobs. Most of my earnings end up paying student loans, rent, car payments, insurance, and everyday expenses like groceries. Even with that effort, I’m often left with little to nothing after covering my bills. The rising cost of housing, persistent inflation, and the lack of wage growth to keep pace with these increases make it incredibly difficult to get ahead or even set money aside. Living like this has given me firsthand insight into the economic pressures many Americans face daily.

I am running for Congress because I believe our government is in urgent need of transformation. We need younger voices in positions of power and individuals who understand the modern challenges facing everyday people. I stand for reducing the dominance of rigid party systems and encouraging candidates who prioritize principles over party loyalty. I am committed to confronting corruption not with superficial policies that merely mask the symptoms, but with meaningful reforms that address its root causes. At the core of my vision are ideas centered on liberty, reason, and human flourishing—the strongest framework for a just and effective government.

I believe that our government, in its current form, is no longer consistently serving the people it was designed to represent. Too often, decision-making is influenced by entrenched party interests, powerful corporations, and well-funded lobbying groups rather than the needs of everyday citizens. This misalignment has eroded public trust and weakened accountability. I plan to tackle these issues head-on by advocating for greater transparency, stricter limitations on undue influence, and reforms that realign incentives so elected officials are accountable first and foremost to the people they serve.

I recognize that achieving these goals depends on the willingness of people to embrace change. Progress is not possible without open minds and a shared commitment to rethinking the systems that no longer serve us effectively. My campaign is not just about policies; it is about fostering a cultural shift toward accountability, transparency, and renewed civic engagement.

I am more than my age. My socioeconomic background, combined with my education, skills, and unwavering principles, has prepared me to lead with empathy, determination, and integrity. I believe these qualities are exactly what Congress needs, and I am ready to serve with the purpose of creating a better, more equitable future for all.

Principles Over Party

Liberty & Reason

Haskin stands for the flourishing of the human spirit, guided by reason and the unyielding protection of individual liberty against state overreach.

Constitutionalism

Adhering to a strict interpretation of the Constitution ensures our government remains a framework for freedom, not a tool for its own expansion.

Accountability

Fighting corruption at its root requires radical transparency and a commitment to serving citizens over special interests or rigid party dominance.

THE MOTIVATION

Realigning Government to Serve the Citizens

The status quo in Washington is no longer sustainable. We need younger voices in government—voices that aren't beholden to the rigid party dominance that has gridlocked our progress for decades. I am running to confront the systematic corruption that prioritizes special interests over people and to invite every voter to join a movement for real, fundamental change.
